*Yuna comes back onto the airship*

Brother (Al Bhed): Words cannot convey my relief! If we had lost you, I...

Dachi: When he heared that something might have happened to you, he went crazy. We couldn't contol him!

Rikku: Nobody had any clue where you were!

Rikku: We tried dropping one of those Commincator Spheres in the hole, but it was no use.

Shinra: They're still not finished yet.

Paine: Did something happen?

Yuna: Yeah...


Dachi: Lenne, huh?

Shinra: She's the girl from that Pop Star dress sphere.

Yuna: She is?

Shinra: She must've worn that dress 1000 years ago.

Rikku: Why didn't you say anything before!

Shinra: Nobody asked. Besides it was just a name, so I didn't think anything of it.

(Yuna)
"I was kind of surprised, but not really. I just knew it was all connected..."

Rikku: Okay, so the reason that Shuin guy called you Lenne was...

Paine: Because of the dress sphere, right?

Shinra: I can't say for sure.

Brother: Shuin! That's right! We can't just let him destroy Spira like that!

Dachi: But what can we do about it?

Dachi: Nooj and Gippel are already doing something.

Dachi: I think we should let them handle it.


*Yuna heads towards the elevator*

Rikku: Yuna, Yuna!

Yuna: What's up?

Yuna: It just looked like him, that's all.


*Up on the top deck, Yuna finds Paine*

Yuna: These were for you.

Paine: Did they say anything?

Yuna: No.

Paine: Oh...

Paine: They were old friends.

Paine: We were all cadets in the Akagi Squad. Three regulars and a recorder... me.

Paine: Akagi Squad was an elite force set up in secret by the temples two years ago.

Paine: If we were recruited, we would have run missions all over Spira for the Crusaders. But...

Yuna: But?

Paine: The Squad was destroyed before that.

Paine: There was an accident during training. No one survived...

Paine: We all lost touch with each other... for one reason or another.

Paine: I just don't get it!

Paine: I was there, when it happened

Paine: But how something like that could've happen, even now I...

Paine: I still want to find out.

Yuna: So you became a Sphere Hunter.

Paine: And on this airship, I can go everywhere until I do.

Rikku: What's going on up here?

Rikku: Hey, you're not supposed to keep secrets!

Rikku: Fine then, don't tell me, see if I care.

Rikku (Al Bhed): How cruel!

Paine: We used to joke around like this too.

Paine: We're the same, then. Maybe it's time we stopped chasing the past, and live for the present.

Rikku: And... quit the Gullwings?

Paine: Maybe that too.

Yuna: He's pretty dedicated, huh...

Wakka: Totally. It's too bad that he's gonna be leavin' soon.

Wakka: Youth Alliance is having some problems lately, so they're recalling him to the base.

Wakka: I've also been hearin' that New Yevon's leader has disappeared...

Wakka: Man... sounds like somethin' major's goin' on, ya?

Yuna: Yeah, things are getting a little out of control.

Wakka: I hear ya.

Wakka: But doncha worry any about Besaid, we're doing fine.

Wakka: I'll watch out for trouble, though.

Wakka: I gotta, else Lu'd be onto me.

*Communicator Sphere on Kilika*

Dona: That was a brief look at Kilika Port.

Dona: Everybody's running around like headless chickens, what with Nooj gone.

Dona: They're all clueless without someone to give them orders.

Dona: We've already begun searching for a replacement leader.

Dona: Some even suggested me! Since I was a Summoner once, after all.

Yuna: Did you agree?

Dona: My dear, and waste my time protecting someone else?

Dona: To tell you the truth, I'd do it just to stop all this chaos...

Dona: But if Nooj returned, he'd probably ask me to step down.


*Communicator Sphere on Mushroom Rock Road*

Yaebal: Oh! Lady Yuna!

Yuna: More fiend troubles?

Yaebal: Actually, we have received some unconfirmed reports of trouble brewing in Bevelle.

Yaebal: It appears they are preparing to make an attack.

Yaebal: They must be planning their assault to take advantage of Nooj's untimely absence.

Yaebal: But fear not! We will not let them succeed.

Yaebal: We intend to launch our own attack first.

Yaebal: We move on Bevelle as soon as our preparations are complete!

Yuna: But what if something goes wrong?

Yaebal: In battle, the first strike has the upper hand. So Lady Yuna, please excuse me!


*Communicator Sphere in Bevelle*

Yuna: How are things going?

Maroda: I'm doing recon into New Yevon's base.

Maroda: Their Head is gone, fiends keep coming out... Yevon's in an uproar .

Maroda: Even their defenses are rather low, so we Youth Alliance shouldn't have much trouble.

Guard: Hey you! What're you doing there!

Maroda: Heh, 'bout time someone found me.

Maroda: Catch ya later!


*Yuna speaks to Dachi*

Dachi: Nooj and Baralai, vanished. And now Gippel, too...

Dachi: The leaders of all the major groups are gone.

Dachi: And all their followers are confused, afraid for what's next.

Shinra: If they end up fighting each other, it could be bad.

Paine: And don't forget the Vegna Gun's still out there, maybe with Shuin.

Rikku: I thought Gippel and them were taking care of it...

Paine: We hope so.

Rikku: Argh, this really sucks! What're we gonna do!

Yuna: Nooj said it when I was on the Farplane, take care of the surface.

Yuna: I think he was telling us just what we should do.

Yuna: Get out there and do something about it.

(Yuna)

Yuna: So, then, that's what we should do. He really needs our help, so let's find a way!

Brother (Al Bhed): Of course that's what Yuna would do.

Brother: Okay then! Down with Vegna Gun! We'll defend Spira with our lives!

Paine: Like what?

Yuna: Everything's falling apart without the leaders...
